TheSchauenburg MAB compact plants are successfully applied in diaphragm wall construction. The effective processing of the concrete slurry in diaphragm wall construction makes a significant contribution to productivity in this field of application.
In grabbing operation, the main task of the separation plant is to reduce the density of the support slurry as quickly as possible after excavation of the slab, so that there are no delays in the concreting process.
If diaphragm wall cutters are used, the concrete slurry is continuously pumped to the separating plant during the cutting process in order to separate the excavated solids as completely as possible from the bentonite suspension. A high solids capacity of the separation plant as well as a good separation cut of the cyclones are also in this case essential features for the successful operation of a construction site.
Separation plants with two cyclone stages and large dewatering screen areas ensure a high solids capacity and a good separation cut to a special degree. High wear resistance is another quality feature.
