From waste to product
A responsible as well as sustainable and resource-saving approach to our environment is more important today than ever before. For more than 50 years, Schauenburg MAB has been working to ensure that interventions in the ecological balance are compensated or their negative effects are minimized. This also applies to the treatment of contaminated soils.
Schauenburg MAB’s mobile, semi-mobile and stationary plants are successfully operated in numerous applications such as the processing of construction waste, weakly and heavily contaminated soils, road sweepings, railroad ballast and the like. In contrast to other treatment processes, which partly use chemicals that are harmful to the environment and health, Schauenburg MAB’s plants mainly work with water.
The sharp increase in demand for resources poses challenges for the construction industry in particular. Schauenburg MAB plants focus primarily on soil washing and construction waste processing and thus guarantee the production of high-quality secondary raw materials, such as RC sands. Primary raw materials can not only be recycled in the course of this, but landfill costs and harmful environmental impacts can also be reduced through the reduction of waste.
