Due to the dismantling of coal-fired power plants in Germany and Europe, ash processing is not a major focus of Schauenburg MAB today.

However, if the combustion chamber ash is to be further processed into a marketable product, the Schauenburg MAB plants offer a qualitative upgrading of the residual materials, especially the unburned coal fractions.

With a good separation cut, coal and ash are separated from each other as precisely as possible, so that the unburned coal after the combustion process can be returned to the power plant or the coal gasification plant without any problems. The ash can be classified and dewatered accordingly and can also be used further.

The Schauenburg MAB plants enable optimum separation of impurities, unburned coal fractions and heavy metals with high economic efficiency, simple operation and low wear.
